State Mentri Besar Aminuddin Harun, who was sworn in last Saturday (May 12), said this caused the delay in announcing the line-up.
“We are now finalising the matter and I need to get the consent of the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan before naming our state exco line-up,” he told reporters at Wisma Negri here on Tuesday (May 15).
Pakatan won 20 of the 36 state seats in the May 9 polls.
DAP won the most number of seats with 11 followed by PKR (six) and Amanah (three).
Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia failed to win any of the six seats it contested.
Asked how many exco members would be named, Aminuddin said his administration would propose 10.
“We will have the same number as under the previous state government but we will make some minor changes to the portfolios,” he said.
Aminuddin added that the seat distribution formula and who would be Speaker had yet to be finalised.
